The abstracts of this conference revolve around the oral and poster presentations around the overarching conference theme. We welcome interdisciplinary research that integrates a wide range of subjects including natural science, engineering and social science to address multi-hazard risk. The main text of the abstract should be less than 300 words. Additionally, the abstract should include the full names, affiliations, and emails of all authors. The presenting author should be indicated and will serve as the primary contact for all following correspondence. Please submit your abstract: Abstract Submission Link.. The deadline for abstract submissions is 30 April, 2025. All abstracts will be reviewed by the conference scientific committee, and authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts for oral or poster presentation by 15 June, 2025. Selected abstracts may be invited to submit a full paper for publication in an Geo Data journal after further peer review.
Call for Special Sessions
The organising committee would like to invite special session proposals related to disaster risk reduction and resilience. Special sessions will be directly organised by the convener(s), who will propose topics, invite speakers, and manage abstracts. Each special session will consist of at least 5 to 6 oral presentations. Special Sessions will be evaluated based on their relevance, timeliness, technical content, and novelty. Start Your Submission
Call for Training Courses
Training courses may cover any aspect of disaster risk reduction and resilience. However, topics that are directly aligned with the conference theme or related to the local region of the conference are particularly encouraged. We also strongly support the inclusion of experiential, hands-on components that introduce models, software, tools, or methods. Each course should typically last half a day or one full day. Training courses are expected to be part of the pre-conference program, scheduled to take place on 10 September 2025. Training Courses will be peer-reviewed based on the presenter(s)' track record, as well as the relevance and quality of the course.

A full refund of the registration fee (100%) will be granted for cancellations received one month or more prior to the conference start date.
For cancellations received within two weeks (half a month) to one month of the conference, a 50% refund of the registration fee will be granted.
